BHUBANESHWAR: Dhamra Port, one of India’s fastest-growing deep-water ports operated by Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd., has once again demonstrated its operational excellence by achieving a new cargo-handling milestone.
The port successfully discharged a record 19,747 metric tonnes of steel slabs from the vessel MV HTK Neptune at Berth BB-4 within just 24 hours, surpassing the previous record of 14,700 metric tonnes handled in a similar timeframe.
This remarkable achievement underscores the port’s strong focus on operational efficiency, meticulous planning, and seamless coordination among various teams involved in the cargo handling process. The milestone also reflects Dhamra Port’s growing capability to handle large-volume bulk cargo with speed and precision.
